Dr. Lopez earned his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada. He then completed his pediatric residency and a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. His clinical interests include congenital heart disease, arrhythmia and cardiac channelopathies.

Dr. Lopez is board certified in general pediatrics. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the American Medical Association, Heart Rhythm Society and Pediatric Echocardiography Society of South Florida. His work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and he has presented at conferences both nationally and internationally.
