MIAMI CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL SURGEON TRAVELS TO EUROPE ON FELLOWSHIP TRIP
Miami, FL - Christopher Iobst M.D., Miami Children's Hospital Orthopaedic Surgeon, recently went to Europe as part of the Pediatric Orthopedic Society of North America (POSNA) traveling fellowship program. POSNA represents all pediatric orthopaedic surgeons who have participated in additional training to become specialized in the care of children’s musculoskeletal health in North America. Dr. Iobst and two other surgeons were selected to embark on this fellowship where the doctors performed surgeries, provided medical training and led medical lectures. This valuable interaction with the European pediatric orthopaedic community will help to stimulate research that can benefit patient care in the future. The medical journey began in Zagreb, Croatia and continued to Rome, Italy, then Marseille, France and concluded in Madrid, Spain.
