(12/23/2008)

MIAMI, FL – Cancer patients from Miami Children’s Hospital and their families celebrated the holiday season at the MCH Cancer Center’s annual holiday party on Sunday, December 21. Commissioner Jose “Pepe” Diaz, dressed up as Santa Claus, distributed gifts donated by various sponsors and volunteers to more than 60 patients and their siblings.  In addition to Santa’s special visit, children enjoyed singing Christmas songs, dancing with performers, eating delicious treats and greeting characters and clowns.
