Children reach developmental milestones at different stages.  Developmental delays can occur in one or more areas including speech development, motor skills, cognitive functioning, social functioning and academic functioning.   The earlier a delay is diagnosed and receives intervention the better the progress.  In addition, developmental delays can impact future learning and adjustment to school.

Is your child struggling with social interaction?  Does your child have trouble concentrating?  Does your child have difficulty with learning?

Please join Rose Alvarez-Salvat, Ph.D. in understanding developmental milestones and red flags for early childhood and school age assessments.  Assessments for developmental delay, intellectual disability, learning disability and emotional/behavioral functioning will be reviewed and discussed.
