The Oscar Project

This course is designed to educate child caregivers and provide them with the skills and critical information necessary to handle crisis situations involving children in their care.  The following topics will be covered during the course:  infant and child CPR, pool and water safety, infant/child choking, injury prevention, first aid, basic childcare, kitchen and bathroom safety, outdoor safety, poison control and emergency management.   Please call 305-205-3315 for additional information and registration.

Heartsaver CPR and Pediatric First Aid Course 02/26/2010

This course is designed for childcare and foster care workers, teachers, camp counselors and coaches.  Parents with young children and adolescents are also highly encouraged to attend.  This course will give you the education and confidence you need to effectively care for children in an emergency until professional help arrives.  Topics include:  first aid basics, medical emergencies and CPR with Automated External Defirbillator (AED).  Participants will receive an American Heart Association Heeartsaver CPR and Pediatric Frist Aid Course Completion Card.   Please call 305-662-8282 to register.

Child Life Community Field Trips

Adolescent Depression/Anxiety Group

Adolescent Emotional Stimulus Package

Weekly group sessions for adolescents ages 15-18 provide tips on managing various emotions that may arise in the daily life of a teenager.  For additional information call 305-666-6511 ext. 2680.

Social Networking Group
