Mrs. Garcia is a Registered Nurse and serves as Staff Relief for the Genetics and Nursing members of The Craniofacial Center at Miami Children's Hospital. She graduated from Miami Dade Community College, Miami, Florida, in December 1984 with an Associate of Science in Nursing with Honors. She earned a Bachelors of Science in Nursing in July 1987, from the University of Miami, Coral Gables, Florida, and a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling in April 1994, from Nova Southeastern University, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Mrs. Garcia has over 17 years of nursing experience in areas including Medical-Surgical, Obstetrics-Gynecology, and Genetics ,and has been with The Craniofacial team at Miami Children's Hospital since 1999.
