“I just got hired here at MCH as an Office Manager of
Endocrinology! Not only do I feel so proud and lucky, I also feel very honored to be a part of a hospital where I had a serious back surgery done several years ago. I had a sixty degree curve and was just a kid. As a baby I had very bad pneumonia and was taken very good care of. As I walk down the halls, I always feel so very proud to be here. The doctors I have been associated with are very caring and really do care about the patients. Especially the office I currently work in. The doctors are very caring and very hard working. A hospital like this, with this kind of staff, is what all hospitals should consist of. I suppose it is the values and integrity that is up held here. Today I participate in yoga and a healthy life style. One day I would like to start a group for young women after scoliosis surgery. I remember too, as a kid, spending hours doing my homework after school, in the on call dr rooms in the Wegan building, while my mother was completing her residency in the emergency room. Since I was four feet tall, my memories of Miami Children's Hospital and all the extremely caring staff from cafeteria employees to chiefs, my experiences have been extremely positive and definitely memorable.”
