Neuroscience Program
The Neuroscience Program includes five pediatric neurologists based full-time at the Miami Children's Hospital Dan Marino Center. Neurophysiological procedures performed include EEGs, video-EEGs, as well as brainstem and visual evoked responses. Other services provided by the neurology and neuroscience program include the clinical teaching of neurology and developmental medicine to pediatric residents from Miami Children's Hospital, students from the University of Miami School of Medicine, and Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Visiting fellows from countries such as Spain, Italy, Argentina, and Brazil have also participated in the teaching program. The neuroscience program coordinates an integrated teaching conference on a weekly basis.
