About the Limb Correction Care Team

The Limb Correction Program at Miami Children’s is under the supervision of Dr. Christopher Iobst, pediatric orthopaedic surgeon. Dr. Iobst received his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Medical University of South Carolina, followed by a fellowship in pediatric orthopaedic surgery at The Children’s Hospital in Boston (Harvard). He specializes in the correction of limb deformities and limb length discrepancies, and has published papers on the subject. Dr. Iobst is active in research and has presented work on limb deformity correction at both local and national orthopaedic meetings.

 

Dr. Iobst works in concert with the Miami Children’s Hospital orthopaedic team of physician assistants, cast technologists, physical therapists, and occupational therapists to support the care of children before, during and after use of limb correction procedures.
