The Pediatric Dentistry clinic has four operatories and two open bay dental chairs. All operatories are equipped with N2O and are available for conscious sedation. A recovery room will be available for induction and recovery of the pediatric patient in need of sedation. A sedation nurse is available for the patient that requires moderate-deep or IV sedation.
Intraoral and extraoral digital radiography is available in the dental clinic. Other radiograph and imaging studies are available to the pediatric patient.
A conference room with audiovisual and computer equipment is available for conferences, lectures and seminars.
A study area is available for the residents to complete medical records, maintain patient logs, and request consultations of other specialists.
Miami Children's Hospital Medical Library is in close proximity and available to the dental resident.
