Families in crisis have the most need for resources and information to make decisions and guide them, that is why we provide more resources for parents and families than for professionals. A child may spend little time in an acute hospital setting or parents may be at home with their child before they realize that they will need supportive services. Help can be difficult to find since the best connections for pediatric neuro-oncology are mixed in with references for adults, brain tumor patients, and general cancer services for children. However, it is important to find the accurate information and support services for each case.
