National, Regional, and Professional Organizations
There are groups of committed individuals -- professionals, parents, and volunteers -- whose efforts relate to childhood CNS tumors. They vary in organization in that they may be formal and structured or casual and community based. Many participate and coordinate fundraising with specific goals in mind (Projects, Advocacy, and Legislation).
Although some organizations have comprehensive websites, many still don't. Besides, the most effective way to reach those that need their services is in hospitals or communities... at the frontline. For organizations that do not have an online presence, you should pick-up the phone and ask for their mailings since they are often great sources of printed information.
