Diabetes Camp South Florida – Miami Children's Hospital

The Diabetes Youth Camp is a program especially tailored for children with diabetes and their families. The camp is for boys and girls 6-12 years old. Diabetes Youth Camp is held once a year. The Lions Association sponsors the event for Diabetes Awareness of District 35-A, Inc., along with Miami Children's Hospital.

Diabetes Youth Camp hosts children from around the United States and South America, as well as local families from Miami-Dade and surrounding South Florida counties.

Since 1987, Miami Children's Hospital and the Lions Club of South Florida have sponsored the camp, which has benefited hundreds of children.
