Dr. Simpser received his medical training in Mexico City, Mexico where he also practiced pediatric medicine. He served as Clinical Fellow in Pediatrics, Pulmonary Disease & Pulmonary Physiology, Children’s Hospital Medical Center/Harvard Medical School in Boston as well as Director, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Pulmonology, Children’s Hospital of Newark, New Jersey before joining Miami Children’s Hospital in 1984. His honors for community service include being honored on May 10, 1995, which was proclaimed Dr. Simpser Day by the City of Miami and a letter of commendation from President Clinton.
