When your child is sick and refuses prescribed medicine because of the taste- what can you do? The Nicklaus Children's Hospital, formerly Miami Children's Hospital, Outpatient Pharmacy can help. By adding Flavor-Rx, even the worst tasting medicine can be transformed to taste like bubblegum, banana, chocolate, watermelon, or any of the over forty flavors available. Everyone knows medicine isn't candy, but making it taste better does help. Flavor-Rx doesn't change the effectiveness of the medication and can be added to prescription or over the counter medications. So turn to Nicklaus Children's Hospital, formerly Miami Children's Hospital, where we make medicine taste less yucky.
What do you do when your child's medicine is hard to find? Now you can call NCH's Outpatient Pharmacy when you have a special request or need medicines that are not commonly stocked elsewhere. Since NCH specializes in children, parents are able to find a lot of these medicines in the outpatient pharmacy.
