Nicklaus Children's Hospital, formerly Miami Children's Hospital, is located in a beautiful and tranquil family-friendly area just outside Coral Gables. This is a community long known for its semi-tropical beauty and easy accessibility by car, Tri-Rail or bus, to Miami International Airport, the downtown area, cultural center and numerous attractions including the Parrot Jungle, the Seaquarium and the Museum of Science. Miami is called the “magic city” because it has it all…and more. Here, treatment and rehabilitation can take place in an environment made for children and their families.
You can visit the historic Art Deco District in South Beach, referred to as SoBe by the locals, the trendy area of Bal Harbour, or the tourist trotted Bayshore Drive. Miami also offers some of the best shopping, including Tiffany’s, Bloomingdales and Macys. And Fort Lauderdale, famous for its nightclubs, theaters and restaurants, is less than an hour away.
