Launch Course AppThe course is designed to be an intensive review of Pediatrics and features 3 days of intensive pediatric review, with 20 AMA PRA Category 1TM credit hours. The course will include core lecture material along with Q&A sessions, and each day ends with a set of images (Pictures of the Day) displayed for attendees, with cases and questions for them to test their knowledge. The course will end on Sunday at 4:30 pm.
All registrants for the live conference will also have included in their registration package access to recorded on-demand core lectures for 6 months, until after the ABP exam. (Scroll below for more details)

Target Audience
The GPRSA targets the following audience:
- Physicians and pediatricians who are preparing for the American Board of Pediatrics certification examination.
- The course also serves as an intense review of pediatrics for any pediatric provider who wants to refresh/strengthen their knowledge in all pediatrics and its specialties.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of the program, the participant should be able to:
- Receive a full review of Pediatric concepts in preparation for the Board of Pediatrics examination
- Practice questions relevant to the content of the Board exam;
- Review updated diagnostic and therapeutic skills in the practice of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine
- Acquire basic principles of test taking and strategies for self directed learning

Located just a short walk away from our Corporate Offices is the Hilton Miami Airport Hotel. This hotel offers free shuttle service to and from Miami International Airport, sports courts, bike and car rentals, a fitness center, and pet-friendly rooms.

- Cancellation policy: Cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to the day of arrival, by 6:00 PM on the day prior to check-in. All cancellations made after 6:00 PM on the day prior to check-in will be subject to a late cancellation charge of one night’s room and tax.

HEALTH SAFETY MEASURES:
Your health and safety and the safety of our attendees, speakers, and staff are our top priority. We are committed to provide a safe and healthy environment to all participants who choose to attend in person. We working with the venue on several measures to be put in place in order to make all attendees feel safe and comfortable going back to an in-person enjoyable educational experience and reduce the potential spread of the COVID-19 virus. We all can appreciate that the responsibility for a safe and healthy GPRSA meeting is shared by all participants and that safety procedures are subject to change at any time based on community positivity rates, and State rules.
Safety Measures:
The following safety measures are taken:
- Masks: Strongly Recommended indoor (not during meals). Masks will be made available onsite to attendees who wish to have them.
- Social Distancing: Social Distancing will be implemented in the conference hall with 3 feet distance between seats in the classroom seating style.
- Sanitizers: Hand sanitizers will be made available to conference attendees.
Shared responsibility
Registrants agree not to attend the course in person if they:
- are experiencing or have experienced signs and symptoms of COVID-19 within 10 days prior to your arrival to the meeting
- believe they may have been exposed to a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19 within 14 days prior arrival to the meeting and are not yet fully vaccinated
- have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and are not yet cleared as non-contagious by the health care team responsible for their treatment
Accreditation & Disclosures
Accreditation Statement: Nicklaus Children's Hospital is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Faculty/Planner Disclosure Policy: In accordance with the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education’s Standards for Integrity & Independence in Accredited Continuing Medical Education, all planners, teachers, and authors involved in the development of CME content are required to disclose to the accredited provider their financial relationships. Relevant financial relationships will be disclosed to the activity audience.
Credits & Certificates
CME Designation Statement: Nicklaus Children's Hospital designates this live activity for a maximum of 20.00 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
ABP MOC Recognition Statement: Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the activity and individual assessment of and feedback to the learner, enables the learner to earn up to 0.00 MOC points in the American Board of Pediatrics’ (ABP) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit learner completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABP MOC credit. (PARS Course ID: TBA)
Attendance/CE: This is an accredited educational activity. Those enrolled for the CE/CME version of the course that cannot claim the designated certified credits, and that complete the course requirements will receive a certificate of completion commensurate with their time participating in this course approved for AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.
General Attendance: Participants enrolled for the Non-CE/CME version of the course will receive a certificate of attendance.

Certificate Availability: Registered learners will be able to download their certificates after completing all the required portions of the activity for each credit type, as permitted by their registration type. Learners are only able to earn credits they are eligible for based on their course registration and profession. Available certificates may be downloaded directly from your learner transcript.
Credit Reporting
CE Broker
Credits Reported to CE Broker Manually by Provider (Eligible learners ONLY)
Elgible learners: At this time, we only report credits for Licensed Medical Doctors (MD) in the State of Florida. Make sure your user profile is complete to avoid errors in reporting. Reports will be made a week after the activity takes place, and once more when virtual access ends.
All other learners (including but not limited to Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, etc.) must download their transcript/certificate and manually report credits/hours earned for this activity to CE Broker or their respective licensing institution.
