Welcome to the 27th Annual GPRSA Course

The course is designed to be an intensive review of Pediatrics and features 3 days of intensive pediatric review, with 20 AMA PRA Category 1TM credit hours. The course will include core lecture material along with Q&A sessions, and each day ends with a set of images (Pictures of the Day) displayed for attendees, with cases and questions for them to test their knowledge. The course will end on Sunday at 4:30 pm.

All registrants for the live conference will also have included in their registration package access to recorded on-demand core lectures for 6 months, until after the ABP exam. (Scroll below for more details)

Target Audience

The GPRSA targets the following audience:

  • Physicians and pediatricians who are preparing for the American Board of Pediatrics certification examination.
  • The course also serves as an intense review of pediatrics for any pediatric provider who wants to refresh/strengthen their knowledge in all pediatrics and its specialties.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of the program, the participant should be able to:

  • Receive a full review of Pediatric concepts in preparation for the Board of Pediatrics examination
  • Practice questions relevant to the content of the Board exam;
  • Review updated diagnostic and therapeutic skills in the practice of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine
  • Acquire basic principles of test taking and strategies for self directed learning

  • Check-in time is 4:00 pm
  • Check-out is at 11:00 AM
  • Cancellation policy: Cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to the day of arrival, by 6:00 PM on the day prior to check-in. All cancellations made after 6:00 PM on the day prior to check-in will be subject to a late cancellation charge of one night’s room and tax.

We working with the venue on several measures to be put in place in order to make all attendees feel safe and comfortable going back to an in-person enjoyable educational experience and reduce the potential spread of the COVID-19 virus. We all can appreciate that the responsibility for a safe and healthy GPRSA meeting is shared by all participants and that safety procedures are subject to change at any time based on community positivity rates, and State rules.

Safety Measures:

The following safety measures are taken:

  1. Masks: Strongly Recommended indoor (not during meals). Masks will be made available onsite to attendees who wish to have them.
  2. Social Distancing: Social Distancing will be implemented in the conference hall with 3 feet distance between seats in the classroom seating style.
  3. Sanitizers: Hand sanitizers will be made available to conference attendees.

Shared responsibility

Registrants agree not to attend the course in person if they:

  • are experiencing or have experienced signs and symptoms of COVID-19 within 10 days prior to your arrival to the meeting
  • believe they may have been exposed to a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19 within 14 days prior arrival to the meeting and are not yet fully vaccinated
  • have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and are not yet cleared as non-contagious by the health care team responsible for their treatment
