Mark Gabay, DO, FAAP
Osteopathic Pediatric Residency Program Director
Dr. Mark Gabay earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University – College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then completed a three year pediatric residency and a subsequent one year chief residency at Nicklaus Children's Hospital, formerly Miami Children's Hospital.
After completion of Dr. Gabay’s residency training, he remained with Nicklaus Children's Hospital, formerly Miami Children's Hospital, working as an attending physician within the Emergency / Urgent Care Department. Soon thereafter, he joined Nova Southeastern University as clinical assistant professor. He currently holds the titles of Program Director for the Osteopathic Pediatric Residency Program and Associate Program Director for the Pediatric Residency Program. His responsibilities include developing, organizing and enhancing the pediatric academic and clinical experience, fostering personal and professional growth of all residents, and ensuring the programs’ successful longevity and accreditation by maintaining program compliance. Dr. Gabay is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the American College of Osteopathic Pediatricians. He is currently a NBOME committee member for Comlex-USA Level 2-CE, and serves as a council member on the Physician Workforce Advisory Council for the State of Florida Department of Health.
