This course is designed for childcare and foster care workers, teachers, camp counselors and coaches. Parents with young children and adolescents are also highly encouraged to attend. This course will give you the education and confidence you need to effectively care for children in an emergency until professional help arrives. Topics include: first aid basics, medical emergencies and CPR with Automated External Defirbillator (AED). Miami Children's Hospital Director of the Divisions of Pulmonology and Pulmonology Care, Moises Simpser, MD, FAAP, FCCP, will be providing a persentation to any parent or guardian interested in learning about asthma, upper respiratory conditions, colds and viral syndromes in young children.
