Dr. Glenn Morrison has been in practice in Miami since 1974, and has served on the hospital’s Medical Board, the Board of Directors (Vice President), and as the chief of surgery as well as participating in most of the hospital’s committees. He was the Chief of Neurosurgery for many years. While in medical school at Case–Western Reserve University, Dr. Morrison studied neurology at Queen’s Square in London. He spent two years at the National Institutes of Health conducting basic and clinical research before completing his neurosurgical residency at University Hospitals in Cleveland. Dr. Morrison was certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners in 1968 and by the American Board of Neurological Surgery in 1976. Dr. Morrison is a member of many medical organizations, and has served as the President of the Southern Neurosurgical Society, the Florida Neurosurgical Society, the Greater Miami Neurosurgical Society, and the Greater Miami Chapter of the American College of Surgeons. He was a Governor of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Morrison has published and lectured extensively and has been recognized as one of the "Best Doctors in America" as well as the "Best Doctors in America – Southeast Region." Dr. Morrison is involved in the teaching program at the University of Miami and is a Clinical Professor of Neurological Surgery at the University of Miami School of Medicine.
